See a specialist
If your infections keep returning, or your symptoms persist despite normal tests, a specialist review is the step that changes the trajectory. Here is exactly what to expect.
What a review with Mr Ameen involves
Your first appointment is with Mr Ameen personally, never a delegate. It covers your full infection history and previous results, a focused examination where appropriate, and usually same visit tests: urine studies, a bladder ultrasound with emptying check and a flow test can commonly be arranged around your appointment. You leave with an explanation of the likely cause, a written plan, and clarity about any further tests, which are only recommended when they will change what we do.
Preparing for your appointment? The more history you bring, the more your first appointment achieves. Download the free guide: a checklist of what to bring, the questions worth asking, and a one week symptom diary. Download the appointment guide (PDF) →
